New approaches for responding to environmental harm

Exploration of the use of restorative justice to address environmental harm.

We will be sharing highlights from the recently published Restorative Justice Approaches for Environmental Harm Practice Guide from the EFRJ and looking at where and how Environmental Restorative Justice could be developed in the UK.

We will look at a case study, briefly present highlights from the practice guide and outreach guide, hear from an expert in environmental law on if and how these approaches might work, and discuss ‘what next?’ for this work in the UK.

Speakers will include:

  • Prof Miranda Forsyth (Australian National University)

  • Prof Ivo Aertsen (University of Leuven)

  • Lawrence Kershen KC

  • Prof Liz Fisher (University of Oxford)

This event is FREE (although donations to support our work are gratefully accepted) and will be held online on Zoom. Registration is on Eventbrite:
