A 90–minute pay as you can webinar from SMK in partnership with The Mint House to reflect on where the social fabric of community has been damaged during the elections and what and how it can be repaired.
Elections and their associated campaigns can contribute to community break down, sharpening divides, even among people who share values and goals. But after the dust has settled from either the unexpected or the predicted election results, activists and changemakers need to be able to continue to pick up the pursuit of social justice.
This webinar provides a facilitated space to reflect on where the social fabric of a community (i.e. the invisible web of relationships, cultural norms, shared values, and trust) has been torn in the build-up to the elections. And, where repair will be required in order to keep pressing for positive social change.
This webinar offers a guided, restorative conversation that helps campaigners move from fracture to repair, and take practical, repeatable approaches that can be taken back into their organisations and campaigns.
